Sunset Camellia - Original Acrylic Painting

An original acrylic painting of an abstracted camellia (or any flower, really). I had painted these multi-petaled florals with swirling flourishes in watercolor, and now I'm bringing them to life with acrylic.
 
This piece has a lovely loose quality, with canvas texture, brushstrokes, and colored pencil mark-making present throughout the composition.
 
I noticed a camellia bush blooming on one of my usual walks and felt compelled to capture the detailed layers of petals while adding my abstracted and skewed proportions to the other flower details.
